bold prints, grown up pastels, chic pink – hellooo spring!

Around this time every year I find myself going a little stir crazy and craving a tropical vacation. I can almost feel the warm inviting breeze on my face through swaying palm trees.

Since I can do little more than daydream, why not name a few of my favorite trends I can’t wait to wear come spring?

  • vivid global prints and patterns
  • feminine traces of lace
  • gold accessories
  • refreshing pastels
  • slouchy knit pants
  • a new take on pinks
  • peekaboo sheer tops
  • kimonos

I love the refreshing feel that these trends offer and are right on par with the season. Excited to add a few staples to refresh my wintery wardrobe.

Here are a few of my pocketbook friendly picks from Target, Zara, and Forever 21, based on the above trends:

It’s like a breath of fresh air isn’t it? Just a few added spring staples can easily infuse life into a tired winter wardrobe. Harem or slouchy pants topped with chunky knit sweaters. A lace or floral top can peek through a layered kimono, boyfriend jeans and simple skinny heels.

What’s your most anticipated spring trend?
